History
- 1991 — foundation of Sales Company engaged in sales of parts for agricultural and automotive machinery.
- 1992 — set up of the first Sales Subsidiaries in Ukraine.
- 1993 — set up of own Transportation Department for in-time parts delivery to customer’s location.
- 1995 — branching out to Russia.
- 1997 — establishment of Agricultural Department of Corporation. Collective farm “Druzhba” (set Mayskoye, Sinelnokovo district, Dnepropetrovsk region) was reorganized into Model Agricultural Enterprise of Corporation “Agro-Soyuz” for adaptation of up-to-date technologies and organization of effective agriculture
- 1997 — searching for new tillage technologies. Purchasing of the best agricultural equipment from North America and Europe. Comparative analysis of technologies and equipment (economy, environmental safety, resources). We have chosen German company “HORSCH” for the long-term partnership.
- 1997 — organization of Cynology Center “Dneprovsky”. The nursery was acknowledged as the best in Ukraine in 2000.
- 1998 — adaptation of resource saving tillage considering recovery of soil fertility and improvement of soil productivity as well as environmentally safe and competitive production.
- 1998 — construction of modern grain storage and handling facility.
- 1998 — foundation of Aviation Company “Avia-Soyuz” for aerial chemical treatment of crops considering innovative technologies and crop protection remedies. In future – passenger and cargo transportation.
- 1999 — organization of motocross club “Agro-Soyuz”. Shortly after that sportsmen of the club won prizes on European and National championships.
- 2000 — the first 18-m wide cultivator was assembled and field tested at the manufacturing plant of Corporation “Agro-Soyuz”. We obtained the license from “HORSCH” company for manufacturing of agricultural machinery.
- 2000 — organization of new agricultural business – “Commercial Ostrich Breeding”.
- 2000 — opening of moto-cycle racing track. Since then competitions have been conducted regularly, and already in 2002 we received the first stage of European championship was.
- 2002 — Model Agricultural Enterprise “Agro-Soyuz” won the 7th Ukrainian National Quality Contest in the nomination “Large Enterprise” and National Quality Contest “Ecologically Pure, Clean, and Safe”.
- 2002 — start-up of new up-to-date manufacturing shop for agricultural machinery series production with the area of 5000 sq.m.
- 2002 — skydiving club and pilot school were established at the basis of Aviation Company “Avia-Soyuz”. Now Aviation Company offers trainings for professionals and amateurs and organizes skydiving competitions.
- 2003 — Initiation of series manufacturing of 18-m wide planters and cultivators under brand “Horsch — Agro-Soyuz”. Products of manufacturing plant “Agro-Soyuz” were certified and passed government registration of technical conditions for series products.
- 2003 — Corporation “Agro-Soyuz” offers consulting services for farmers concerning arrangement of effective agriculture including implementation of conservative tillage and improvement of animal productivity as well as feeding and keeping management.
- 2003 — the first export of parts for agricultural machines to Europe.
- 2003 — April 24 – day of world record: 571, 9 hectares of land were seeded with spring barley by one planter with simultaneous application of granular fertilizers at Model Agricultural Company “Agro-Soyuz”. This result was registered in Guinness World Records Book.
- 2003 — in November Model Agricultural Company “Agro-Soyuz” was awarded by Ukrainian Association of Quality with certificate “Recognition for Excellence in Ukraine”. Also the Company obtained the certificate “Recognition for Excellence” from independent experts of EFQM (Brussels).
- 2004 — Production Enterprise “Agro-Soyuz” became the member of Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers of Ukraine. The enterprise was certified according to the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001-2000.
- 2004 — Corporation “Agro-Soyuz” was awarded for active participation in forming of favorable public opinion about economical and social policy of Russian Federation by Account Chamber of Russian Federation, Ministry for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation and State Duma of Russian Federation
- 2004 — initiation of 5S system implementation (“Management”) at the Corporation. The system is designed to improve culture and productivity of work.
- 2004 — January — opening of the first logistic warehouse “Agro-Star” with the area of 9 000 m2.
- 2004 — November 18-23 – organization of the first International Conference on Self-recovering Tillage based on NO-TILL which was participated by experts and landowners from 16 countries. It was the start point for annual No-Till conference-cycle on the base of Model Agricultural Enterprise “Agro-Soyuz”.
- 2005 — productivity of PE “Agro-Soyuz” was improved up to 500 machines per year.
- 2005 — Roman Morozov, an employee of Corporation won European Motocross Championship of 500 cc class.
- 2005 — May – successful functional testing of seeder ATD 12.35 and cultivator FG 18.30 at Voln’ansk research station of Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine. According to regional state administration and experts from Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine as well as Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine PU “Agro-Soyuz” is acknowledged as one of the best manufacturers of agricultural machinery in Ukraine.
- 2005 — On May 17 and 21, 18 m wide seeding machine “Horsch — Agro-Soyuz” held two world records. We seeded 667, 2 hectares of hybrid sunflower and 740 hectares of corn with simultaneous application of granular fertilizer per 24 hours.
- 2005 — June 30 — July 3 Corporation “Agro-Soyuz” organized the first International Conference of Commercial Ostrich Farming Development.
- 2005 — September 19 – opening of assembly enterprise «Horsch — Agro-Soyuz» in Russia (Ramenskoye, the Moscow Area). Capacity of manufacture — up to 150 units per year. In Russia we have opened two service stations (in Rostov-na-Donu and in Dankov of Lipetsk region), two permanent parts warehouses (in Ramenskoye and Belgorod) and five seasonal warehouses(Zavodoukovsk, Balakovo, Dankov, Ufa, Rostov-na-Donu) operating during the planting seasons
- 2005 — October 7-11 – seeder ATD 18.35 was awarded with Silver at “Golden Autumn” show in Moscow.
- 2005 — October 12-15 Corporation “Agro-Soyuz” organized the first International Conference on Dairy Farming “Rivers of Milk”.
- 2005 — November 6-12 — we exhibited the expo-version of 18 m wide seeding machine “Horsch — Agro-Soyuz” at the International Show “AGRITECHNICA 2005” in Hannover.
- 2005 — December 7-10 – Corporation “Agro-Soyuz” organized the first International Conference on Alternative Pig Farming «Golden Piglet».
- 2006 — July – establishment of the first School of Crop Field Diagnostics in Ukraine. Major tasks of the School — study of different situations which are arisen in plant growing, detection of reasons and risk prevention.
- 2006 — July 25 – opening of «Horsch — Agro-Soyuz» manufacture in Kazakhstan (Akkol’, Akmolinsk region). Manufacturing capacity — up to 600 units per year.
- 2006 — August 21-23 – we organized the first National Field Day in cooperation with Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine. More than 5000 visitors were able to see field operation of resource saving machinery as well as to attend master-classes, seminars and round tables.
- 2006 — June 27-30 — III International Conference on Self-recovering Tillage on the basis of No-Till system approach “NT-CA”.
- 2006 — July – starting of training in practical school of pig breeding, dairy farming, ostrich farming and management in agriculture.
- 2006 — July 6-8 — II International Conference “Commercial Ostrich Farming”.
- 2006 — September 27-30 — IV III International Conference of Self-recovering Tillage on the basis of No-Till system approach “NT-CA”.
- 2006 — October 11 — 18-m seeding unit “Horsch – Agro-Soyuz” held new world record in speed of seeding — 624, 6 ha/24 hours of winter wheat. New result was reached in Stavropol territory by company “Inteko-Agro”. This is remarkable because they planted seeds with much higher seeding rate than for corn and wheat — 220 kg/ha.

- 2006 — November 1-4 II International Conference on Dairy Farming “Rivers of Milk – 2006”.
- 2006 — November 8-10 – National Farm Day.
- 2006 — December 12-14 — I International Conference “Agribusiness Management”.
- 2007 — March — initiation of demo-tour campaigns: demonstration of “Horsch – Agro-Soyuz” machinery operation in sawing campaign on the fields of different farms of Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.
- 2007 — June 25-27 — V International Conference on Self-recovering Tillage on the basis of No-Till system approach “NT-CA” in Mayskoye village.
- 2007 — July-August – first International Conferences on Resource Saving Technologies in Kazakhstan and Russia.
- 2007 — August 15-17 second National Field Day at the base of Model Agricultural Company “Agro-Soyuz” in Mayskoye – the largest Ukrainian exhibition of latest machinery and technologies.
