The Ministry of Agrarian policy of Ukraine will hold the Ukraine-wide Farm Day on the grounds of Model agricultural enterprise of “Agro-Soyuz” Corporation on November 20-21, 2008.
World trends have created unique conditions for the growth of economic indicators of each local producer and for Ukraine as a whole, i.e. – entry into WTO, increase of demand and price increase on agricultural products in the world. Nevertheless, in order to occupy a proper niche in the new economic conditions, local producer needs to be competitive both in terms of quality and cost of production. Understanding these challenges, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine is active in organizing different events aimed at getting agricultural producers acquainted with innovative technologies in the field of livestock farming and facilitating quick adoption of these technologies at Ukrainian enterprises. The biggest event that is deemed to achieve this aim is Ukraine-wide Farm Day, which has been held for 3 years already.
• Ukraine-wide Farm Day is a farm show that presents innovative farm models, technologies, technological and technical solutions, aimed at achievement of world level of products quality and productivity of the enterprise. This is an opportunity to demonstrate to target audience and Mass Media the advantages of different technological approaches and technical aids, the success of which will be supported by your developments and products. The demonstration of technological innovations will take place at production facilities: in pig farming – breeding and grow-finish complexes; in dairy farming – a facility for 5000 milking cows and heifer farm; in ostrich farming – commercial and breeding farms of ostriches, facility for eggs incubation; laboratory research – grain storage and handling facility.
This is your opportunity to represent your company at the exhibition “Ukraine-wide Farm Day-2008”, where more than 3000 livestock farmers from all of the regions of Ukraine will take place. There will also be representatives of the Ministry, local agrarian authorities and scientists.
