Specification of KAMAZ 4308
Distribution vehicle Kamaz 4308 with load capacityof 5 tons corresponds to Euro-2. Kamaz 4308 has highest load capacity within small distribution range (Gazel, Bichok, MAZ-4370). Truck has smooth running, easy steering, reliable brakes, and may be optionally equipped with frame, tent and benches. The main advantage of Kamaz-4308 is simple construction, maneuverability and environmental safety.
In the end of 2003 Kama Automotive Plant assembled first prototype of KAMAZ-4308. This elegant middle-capacity truck with load capacity 5,5 t has become series and competitive to MAZ analogue. KAMAZ 4308 is equipped with 178 hp engine Cummins which corresponds to Euro-2.
Clutch of KAMAZ 4308 is assembled with engine. This middle-truck is equipped with gear box model 141 (without splitter) manufactured by JSC «KAMAZ». Axles of KAMAZ-4308 front and rear – are manufactured by KAMAZ. This is the first time for national series trucks when both front and rear brakes are disc-shaped. That is why low-frame middle-capacity KAMAZ-4308 corresponds to all international standards and has fast response to driver’s actions.
Brake mechanisms for model 4308 are produced by Haldex, Sweden. Smooth and informative steering mechanism is provided by steering booster. Cabin of KAMAZ 4308 is series but equipped with new bumper and step with fender.
Lighting system includes double headlamps. Front panel in cabin is made from glass-fiber. Cabin is warm and comfortable. KAMAZ 4308 may be equipped with two different bodies: sided platform and van. Imported engine provides minimal prices with high quality.
